Nutanix: Deep Dive Live

Challenge

In mid-2020, Nutanix’s field marketing team aimed to develop a unique virtual experience to connect with their audience during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their goal was to create an engaging, educational, and entertaining event that would foster stronger relationships without direct business content.

Leveraging the unique setting of the Naladhu Private Island in the Maldives, out team utilized advanced technology such as a military-grade diving mask for direct diver communication and an underwater drone for live video streaming.

Solution

We devised a virtual event centered around underwater exploration with a bit of danger—Sharks!

Impact

Although difficult to verify, we are fairly confident that this event marked the world’s first live open water shark dive broadcasted on Zoom.

More importantly the client was ecstatic with the results, customers loved the programming, and there was no shortage of shark appearances!
